Now, execution, if you've been here for a while, you know, and if you haven't, welcome. Execution is about creating with intention and not the panic. Right? And momentum is about building sustainability so that you can keep showing up even when life gets busy. Because, yes, it happens. Now, repurposing sits right at the intersection of these two.

Repurposing Tactics for Your Podcast: Quick Win Holiday Plan

So here's your quick win Repurposing Plan for the Holidays first up is one of my favorites. So refresh a greatest hit. Look back at your analytics and find out which episodes performed the best this year. Reintroduce them with a quick new intro or outro. So something like this episode originally aired last February, but it's one of the most downloaded episodes of the year and perfect for the holiday season. Boom. Done. You've just refreshed content and stayed consistent.

Creating a “Best Of” Podcast Miniseries

Another option is create a Best of miniseries. So bundle three to five related episodes and and frame them as a seasonal series. So something like the podcast growth rewind top three episodes to help you plan for 2026. So this will give you structure and it gives listeners easy listen points while you take a break. Then there's the slice and share. Okay, you can pull short clips from your episodes, put those all into an episode like and call it the Best of and have clips from different episodes that you love into one episode. Last but certainly not least is the reframe and republish take an evergreen episode. So like, for me, I would do maybe one on SEO or maybe it's something about Pinterest and tie it into a seasonal theme.

So something like Holiday downtime is the best time to refresh your show notes for SEO. So it's the same advice. It's just fresh context right now. Bonus idea is you can ask your audience that's always the go to run a quick poll or a story asking which episode you want to revisit this month. It not only drives engagement for you, but it also gives you data on what your audience values. Not just do this on social media. You can do this in your newsletters or wherever you engage with your audience. Now.

One of my clients came to me last December completely overwhelmed. She had about 75 or so episodes already at her library. She was traveling, she was juggling family stuff, and she told me, leah, I cannot keep up. So instead of pushing her to record, I looked at her analytics and her top three episodes were about visibility, storytelling and mindset. So I suggested that she just refresh those, update the intros with like holiday energy and share them as a mini winter strategy series. And the result? Yep, her downloads increased by 18% during December, the same month she didn't record a single new episode. And it's because her content was still showing up and her listeners appreciated the reminder of her best advice. That's what happens when you work with your momentum and not against it.
